In these uncertain times it’s never been more important to look to the arts for inspiration and creativity. With 3 seasons under our belt, 2017 is our biggest programme yet – 190 shows and events from 80 companies!

Emerging and breaking talent – searching out new artists we love who are exciting, innovative and hard-working. Artists you’ll see with us now in previews and showcases are surely stars of the future.
Welcoming European and world friends – Dutch avant garde friends 7090 present their unique Pavillion installation and host 5 shows supported by the Dutch government FondsPodiumKunst.
Aussie favourites Head First Acrobats reprise hot shows Elixir and Arr We There Yet? and a new variety night Circus’Cision every weekend.

You don’t need a ticket to come and hang out with us. Not only does the Spiegelpub and its gardens have great beer and food, but it’s also got the best vibe of the whole Brighton Festival & Fringe!
Going late into the night, there’s DJs, live music and all the best people you hope to run into on a night out. It’s Brighton’s hub throughout May, and it’s always free to get into!
